PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance washing efficiency by efficiently operating a mechanical washing force concerning laundry. SOLUTION: The rotator 51h of a driving electric motor 51 is assembled onto a center base 56 integrally with a rotation driving device 5 which selectively performs transmission to a stir blade 4 or a washing tub 3 and the stir blade 4 via a motor-driven operation clutch mechanism 52 and planetary gear reduction mechanism 53. It is attached to the bottom of an outer tub 2 and the stir blade 4 is driven by permitting the motor-driven operation clutch mechanism 52 to be at a neutral position so that the laundry is washed by rotating the stir blade 4 and the washing tub 3 in opposite directions.
