PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently dry clothes in a short time by the restriction of non- uniformity in temperature by permitting warm air which comes in contact with the clothes to be brought into contact with the clothes again. SOLUTION: A drying apparatus is provided with a casing 1, an outer tub 3 inside the casing 1, an inner tub 4 which is freely rotatably supported inside the outer tub 3 and has many holes 4a on its wall surface, a driving means 8 for driving and rotating the inner tub 4 and warm air blowing means 10 and 11 which supply a warm air into the inner tub 4 and dries the stored clothes 37. An air stirring blade 31 is arranged on the outer surface of the inner tub 4 so that the warm air is effectively brought into contact with the clothes 37 by an air stirring operation by the blade 31.
