PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system which can properly decide an actual special game state period of time even when a prize ball discharging abnormality due to a ball-clogging of game balls which are discharged from a game machine during a special game state or a ball-clogging in a replenishing unit which replenishes game balls to be replenished to the game machine occurs. SOLUTION: This game system collects game related information regarding a game machine, and is equipped with a special game state signal-detecting means, a game value imparting signal-detecting means, and an actual special game state generating means. In this case, the special game state signal-detecting means detects the output state of a special game state signal which is outputted from the game machine under a special game state. The game value imparting signal-detecting means detects a game value imparting signal regarding the imparting of a game value. The actual special game state generating means decides an actual special game state by extending a special game state period of time which is specified by the special game state signal. In this case, the actual special game state generating means judges the actual special game state by extending the special game state period of time by a specified period of time being determined in advance when a specified game value imparting signal is not detected by the game value imparting signal-detecting means during the special game state based on the detection of the special game state signal-detecting means.
