PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of imparting variability to game contents when a special game state is generated, by varying a start storage number stored during the generation. SOLUTION: This game machine has a variable display device 4a capable of varying a display state; a start prize hole 9 allowing entrance of a game ball; and a special game generation control means controlling generation of the special game state profitable to a player in association with a shift to a predetermined special display state of a result of a variable display game executed in the variable display device 4a on the basis of the entrance of the game ball into the start prize hole 9. The game machine has a start storage means capable of storing the entrance of the game ball into the start prize hole 9 as start memory for starting the variable display game, while the special game generation control means can generate the special game state having different execution conditions such that a start memory number stored in the start storage means in the special game state varies.
