PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a monoclonal antibody capable of diagnosing stomach cancers. SOLUTION: The monoclonal antibody is prepared from a mouse which has been immunized by a subtractive immunization method. Monoclonal antibodies S7C4-10, S1E-5 and S5B10-1 reacting not only with a stomach cancer cell but also with a lung cancer cell and a hepatic cancer cell, and strains producing the antibodies are obtained.
