PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer which is capable of securely keeping a best-suited activity environment for microbes in a deodorizing device and ensuring an appropriate deodorizing performance of the deodorizing device. SOLUTION: In the garbage disposer which performs a decomposition process of garbage, a disposal tank 10 which receives a disposal medium including microbes and the deodorizing device 60 which encapsulates a deodorizing medium including microbes in a medium container 63 and removes an odor contained in the discharged air from the disposal tank 10 by the deodorizing medium and a deodorizing medium stirring means 65 installed in the deodorizing device 60, are provided.
