PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclined plate sedimentation apparatus for inclining a large number of inclined plates to hold them in mutually parallel to each other by a fixing instrument for fixing four corners of each of the inclined plates to a long body and to easily manufacture the inclined plate sedimentation apparatus by improving the fixing instrument. SOLUTION: In the fixing instrument having a through-hole for permitting the long body to pierce and the fixing surface to each inclined plate, the inner surface of the through-hole is made separable into two parts by the separation surface extending along the axial direction of the through-hole and the insertion of the long body into the through-hole from the gap generated by separation is made possible and slide surfaces inclined with respect to the axial plane of the through-hole are provided to the respective separation parts of two parts and the inner surface of through-hole can be contracted by the contact with the inclined slide surfaces.
