PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To objectively and efficiently decide suitability for transplantation of a cultured tissue and to efficiently supply the cultured tissue having a stable quality by an objective criterion. SOLUTION: A pH value of 6.9 corresponding to 1×10<6> cultured cartilage cells/ml is set to a criterial pH value in a cultured cartilaginous tissue. The decision that the cultured cartilaginous tissue has suitability for transplantation is drawn when the pH value measured after starting culturing is less than 6.9 because the number of the cells and the production amount of a substrate increase and the pH value decreases accompanied with a lapse of a culture period in the cultured cartilaginous tissue. The quality is controlled by regulating the culture period, or the like, based on the comparison with the criterial pH value. |
