PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous hot rolling line wherein a sheet bar can be conveyed to a finish rolling mill at a temperature always suitable for finish hot rolling. SOLUTION: A sheet bar joining unit (80) is located at the line entrance side of the finish rolling mill (90) and a sheet bar heating unit (10) for heating the whole width of the sheet bar is located between the sheet bar joining unit (80) and the finish rolling mill (90).
