PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin change unit by which a time required for exchanging bobbins is shortened and also a worker can easily preset a new bobbin set. SOLUTION: The bobbin change unit comprises a rotary arm 30 which is arranged around a vertical axial line so as to be rotatable and which is provided with at least two grasp mechanisms 40 for grasping bobbin sets 6 and 9 at a prescribed angle interval around the vertical axial line, an air cylinder 28 for moving the rotary arm 30 forward and backward, and a rotation converting mechanism 60 for rotating the rotary arm 30. The grasp mechanisms 40 positioned at the rear side in the backward movement end of the rotary arm 30 is set at the preset position of the new bobbin set 9.
