PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fairly collect consumption taxes for the use of recording media (magnetic cards, IC cards, IC coins, and the like) from gamers. SOLUTION: A terminal controller 120 controls information pertaining to the remaining frequencies of monetary data, the used frequencies of the same and the presence or absence of deposited consumption tax for each card identification data. When it receives the card identification data from a card account settling device 100, it calculates the amount of collected or returned consumption tax on the basis of the information pertaining to the presence or absence of deposited consumption tax. The card account settling device 100 clears the remaining frequencies of monetary data by way of money taking into account the calculated amount of collected or returned consumption tax. |
