PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of efficiently heating a food having infinite form by making electric current to flow without escaping palatability of fish flesh and losing electrical energy. SOLUTION: Many upper energizing members 23 composed of a flexible material having good wetting property are attached to the lower surface of a feed tank 21 of an electrolyte A and deflector guides 26 for restricting flexion of the upper energizing members 23 are arranged. These upper energizing members 23 come into contact with the outer periphery of a food B carried by a belt 11 of a conveyer 10 and apply the electrolyte to the outside surface of the food B and form a thin film of the electrolyte A on the outer periphery of the food B. In this time, the electrolyte A comes into contact with the food B uniformly by the deflector guides 26. The belt 11 is composed of a material having good permeability to the electrolyte A and a metallic plate-like lower electrode 30 is arranged on the lower surface of the belt 11 and volts- alternating current is applied to a space between holding assemblies of the upper energizing members 23 used as electrodes and the lower electrode 30 and electric current is passed through the thin film of the electrolyte A formed on the outer surface of the food B to heat the food B. |
