PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid deodorant made of a pyroligneous acid which is the pyrolysis product of natural plant resources such as trees, bamboo, and vegetables, has activity for environmental cleaning, high safety and is active regardless the amounts of malodorous sources. SOLUTION: This liquid deodorant removes the volatile malodorous components emitted from the malodorous sources by contacting with the pyroligneous acid.
