PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment apparatus for the edge part of a paint film which makes more easy by only one unit of the treatment apparatus to remove surplus paint film at the end face and inner face when a photosensitive material is soaked for coating. SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with a bucket 15 having a wiping out member of the thick part of an internal paint film treating the surplus paint film of the thick part of the internal paint film of a cylindrical body to be coated and an end face wiping out member 19 treating the surplus paint film on the edge face of the cylindrical body to be coated, a liquid supply mechanism 28 feeding a solvent which can dissolve the surplus paint film to the wiping member of the thick part of the internal paint film and the edge face part wiping out member, a waste liquid recovery mechanism 26 recovering the waste liquid settled in the bucket, revolving mechanism rotating the bucket, a back and forth pressing mechanism 16 making relatively the bucket and the cylindrical body to be coated move back and forth so that the wiping out member of the thick part of the internal paint film can tightly touch the cylindrical body to be coated or apart therefrom, a holding mechanism for the cylindrical body holding the cylindrical body to be coated and a lift mechanism making the bucket and the cylindrical body to be coated relatively go up and down in order to fix the location of the cylindrical body to be coated within the bucket.
