PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery light source for endoscope comprising another switch position for switching a function to a prescribed state within a rotating operation range wherein the relative position of the battery light source to an operation part is changed, and capable of stably holding the relative position of the battery light source to the operation part in this switch position. SOLUTION: This battery light source for endoscope comprises a light source body containing a battery for supplying a power for lighting an illumination lamp; two or more switch positions provided in a changing range where the relative position of the light source body to the endoscopic operation is changed; and a click mechanism for holding the relative position of the light source body to the endoscopic operation part in a prescribed state and switching the illumination lamp to a prescribed state in this holding state, which is provided in at least one switch position. Accordingly, the state of the illumination lamp can be switched by changing the relative position with the endoscopic operation part. |
