PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form providable at a low cost while generally a disposable dust collecting filter for an electric vacuum cleaner is composed of a paper bag and a supporting member. SOLUTION: The dust collecting filter is in a structure in which a disposable filter is made cylindrical, a filter composed of foamed urethane or the like is provided on the outer side and the outer periphery of the foamed urethane filter is fixed by a supporting member provided with grooves to insert the upper and lower ends of the foamed urethane filter and an outer peripheral part connecting upper and lower supporting member outer peripheries. Thus, it is provided at a low cost. Also, when the electric vacuum cleaner is operated, the disposable filter and a supporting member inner wall are brought into close contact and sealing is surely performed.
