PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized electric vacuum cleaner provided with a large air cleaning filter capable of performing silencing while improving exhaust cleaning force. SOLUTION: A pair of annular main wheels 101 are provided on both sides of the blowing chamber 114 and power source chamber 115 of a cleaner main body 100 and a filter housing chamber 126 having a cleaning filter 112 and a ventilation path 135 are provided in the internal space of the main wheels 101. Further, a communication path 133a communicating the filter housing chamber 127 and the ventilation path 135 is provided on the outer side of the filter housing chamber 127 and the ventilation path 135. A discharge port is provided around the main wheels 101 and the communication path 51 connecting the discharge port 166 and the communication path 135 is provided.
