PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion body constituting a bench or a chair for studying, in which a cushion member is fixed to a cushion base plate by simple work without using an adhesive material. SOLUTION: An engaging member (1) having many hook-like engaging elements (3) on the surface of a substrate (2) and having an attaching projected line with an expanded head part (4) at an end part on the back surface of the substrate is attached to the cushion base plate by fitting the expanded head part of the attaching projected line to an opening groove (8) provided on the cushion base plate (7). The cushion member (9) composed of a foamed body layer (10) and many loop-like elements (11) provided on the back surface of the foamed body layer is fixed onto the cushion base plate by the engagement of the loop-like elements and the hook-like engaging elements.
