PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair having a footrest which provides stability when feet are placed in use and can be easily folded in non-use. SOLUTION: In the wheelchair having a backrest and a footrest 100, a foot plate 13 is attached on footrest supports held through a footrest support holding part 12 onto a seat part 40, and left and right front frames 11. A spring member is inserted to the mutual connecting part of the left and right footrest supports.
