PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse giving health instrument with which sufficient treatment effects can be obtained around the waist near the body parts having considerable volume changes such as the waist, the hip and the belly. SOLUTION: On an electrode belt 5 in the pulse giving health instrument 1, a slit 57 is formed along the lengthwise direction of the belt between planar electrodes H1 and H3 on an upper stage side and planar electrodes H2 and H4 on a lower stage side. Thus, even when wearing the electrode belt 5 around the waist, the volume changes of the body parts can be controlled by the slit 57. Thus, the planar electrodes H1, H2, H3 and H4 can be stably contacted around the waist and sufficient treatment effects can be obtained.
