摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous coating device for glass capable of conducting continuous coating by supplying a glass at a constant velocity, in which the film thickness at the time of coating start and finish is stable and the coating velocity is improved. SOLUTION: This continuous coating device for glass is provided with a glass continuous supply part 1 which continuously supplies a glass 20, area sensors 2a and 2b which detect a position of a conveyed glass, a variable speed conveying drive part 3, a floating base plate 4 which is floated by air, a side block 5 which limits rising of the glass and prevents right and left positional displacement, a die head 6 which applys coating liquid, a gap adjusting part 7 which adjusts distance of the die head, a coating liquid supply part 8 which supplies the coating liquid, a glass discharge part 9 which discharges the glass 20. In this device, the area sensor 2a detects the position and inclination of the upper and lower glass end faces, connects them by controlling the speed, and this connection timing is adjusted so as to match with the retract and rising timing of the die head 6 at the connection part.
