Method for continuous casting between rollers

Disclosed is a method for detecting defects during the continuous casting between the rollers, where during the casting the signal is scanned, which is dependent on the rolls separating force (RSF), signal is decomposed into the individual harmonic components. The comparison result of the obtained harmonic components with reference harmonic components responds to the defect state of the rolls. The defect state of the rolls enables defining of various rules of the casting process.
