PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple engagement tool which is relatively small, and in a use not requiring much strength. SOLUTION: An engagement tool (2) is made up of a female member (4) attached to the end of a female member side tape, and a male member (6) attached to the end of a male member side tape. The female member (4) is comprised of a base portion (41) in which the female member side tape is embedded, and an engagement portion (42) having an upper surface, a lower surface, right and left sides an engagement space (44). The male member (6) is made up of a base portion (61) in which the male member side tape is embedded and an engagement portion (62) having a projection for engagement. The engagement portion (62) has a projection (64) for engagement of a flat plate form, and a small return projection (65) is formed in a position a little back from the tip.
