The process involves a subscriber in a communication network connecting to a network page of a positioning service provider in an open computer network. The subscriber activates a positioning procedure by sending a request to the positioning service. The positioning service converts the subscriber's unique user information into a service alias. The positioning service provider's network computer requests the subscriber's position from a proxy server by means of the service alias. The proxy server converts the service alias into an operator alias by performing a look-up in a data base. Independent claims are included for a process for deactivation of integrity positioning of a mobile telephone in a communications network and for a system for integrity positioning of a mobile telephone in a communications network.
