METHOD FOR REDUCING CONTENT OF CARBON DIOXIDE IN GAS MIXTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently removing carbon dioxide and/or N2 O from a gas mixture. SOLUTION: X-type zeolite free from a binder is used in the method for reducing the contents of carbon dioxide and/or N2 O in the gas mixture. Zeolite is obtained by converting the binder in binder-containing zeolite to zeolite and, as a result, a ratio of the adsorbing capacity of carbon dioxide of zeolite free from the binder to that of zeolite containing the binder is larger than a mass ratio of the zeolite content in zeolite free from the binder to that in zeolite containing the binder.
