PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder coating suction device which removes powder coating adhered to a part that can not be coated when an electrostatic coating is applied to an automobile wheel. SOLUTION: As the powder coating suction device for automobile wheel, a cylindrical suction nozzle 22 which is equipped with an end part suction hole 34 and a side face suction part 35 is operated and controlled from a decorated side face of the wheel by either one of a center cap type suction operation process and a half cap type suction operation process according to discrimination between a half cap type wheel 9 and a center cap type wheel 1 by the presence/absence of shade of an ornament part 11 and a shape judgment means for judging a wheel shape from shapes of a detected hub hole 2 or bolt hole 4. Since whatever shapes the wheel has, appropriate suction operation can be carried out by the suction nozzle 22 from the decorated side face with respect to the part that can not be coated, as a result, the powder coating adhered on the part that can not be coated can, almost completely removed.
