PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test tube holder that can support a plurality of test tubes vertically and invertedly, can support a plurality of test tubes invertedly, when the test tubes are washed and dried, and is easy to handle. SOLUTION: In the test tube holder, which supports a plurality of test tubes, the test tube holder is characterized by having a pillar 1, a pair of supporting plates 2, 3, which are fixed to the both end portions of the pillar, a plural pairs of insertion holes in which insertion holes 12, 13, which are provided respectively on the position where a pair of supporting plates oppose and in which the top portion and the bottom portion of one piece of test tubes are inserted, comprise a pair and a notch 4, which is provided extending from each insertion hole to the outer periphery of the supporting plate.
