PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer capable of creating a disposable material which is sanitary and can be effectively used as a fertilizer while saving power consumption. SOLUTION: This garbage disposer is equipped with a garbage storage part 11, a plane heater 17 which heats the interior of the garbage storage part 11 and a control circuit 35 which controls the plane heater 17. The control circuit 35 is structured in such a way that the plane heater 17 can be switched to a set temperature of about 30 deg.C for activating microbes in the garbage storage part 11 and a set temperature of higher than 100 deg.C for effecting reduction or extinction at the microbes in the part 11. Consequently, it is possible to perform the garbage disposal by selecting between a microbial decomposition process and a thermal drying process by the help of a single unit of equipment. Thus, the garbage decomposed by the microbes can be heated to sterilize sundry germs or the fermentation of the garbage can be prompted so that, even after its thermal drying process, it is used as an organic fertilizer. |
