PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine in which the temperature rise of a needle bar crank rod is suppressed when the sewing machine is driven by using an oil supply device. SOLUTION: The sewing machine is provided with: a needle bar mechanism having an upper shaft supported by a sewing machine arm so as to be rotatable, a crank which is fixed to the end part of the upper shaft and has a needle bar crank, and a needle bar crank rod which is supported by the needle bar crank so as to be rotatable and connected to the needle bar via a needle bar holder; and the oil supply device for supplying oil to the needle bar crank rod of the needle bar mechanism. The oil supply is provided with a supply pipe connected to part of an oil supply source, an oil amount adjusting member connected to the end of the supply pipe and an oil supply pipe which is connected to the oil amount adjusting member and has a discharge part in the upper part of the needle bar crank rod. The oil amount of a lubricant dropped from the discharge part of the oil supply pipe is adjusted by an oil amount adjusting member.
