PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the handleability of toilet paper. SOLUTION: A supporting body 5 on which roll paper 20 is freely rollably mounted is provided between the lower parts of a pair of side plates 3 projectingly provided on the holder main body 1 of the roll paper 20. Also, between the front end parts of both side plates 3 and 3, a receiving plate 7 in which an edge 8 for cutting the paper is projectingly provided on a front end is projectingly provided. At the rear end upper part of the holder main body 1, a cover 10 covering the upper surface part of the housed roll paper 20 is freely turnably pivoted so as to mount the front end on the rear part upper surface of the receiving plate 7.
