PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rescue lift capable of restraining or preventing a noise due to hoisting of a hoisting brace and not to make a person needing nursing uncomfortable. SOLUTION: The rescue lift 1 consists of a hoisting brace 43 supported by a support member 30 stuck up on a carriage 2 and able to hoist, a support arm 4 fixed in the hoisting brace and suspending a lifting device, and a hoisting drive means 300 making the hoisting brace to go up and down. The hoisting drive means is characterized by comprising a hoisting part 434 consisting of a female screw fixed on the hoisting brace, a screw shaft 301 consisting of a male screw screwing together with the female screw in the hoisting part, a worm wheel 302 revolving together with the screw shaft, a worm 303 engaging with the worm wheel and a drive motor 305 rotation driving the worm 303. A drive noise can be reduced by using a worm gear in a slowing-down mechanism.
