PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical anastomosis device which is capable of easily and rapidly carrying out a fitting operation and has a high reliability on the prevention of the leakage of an excrement. SOLUTION: The surgical anastomosis device is provided with a first flange 4 having a ring-shaped protrusion 7 at one end and a second flange 21 having a ring-shaped protrusion 22 with a groove at the other end. The ring shaped protrusion 7 of the first flange 4 has a first ring-shaped fitting part 11, a second ring-shaped fitting part 12, and a ring-shaped slit 13 interposed therebetween. The first ring-shaped fitting part 11, having a ring-shaped stepped fitting part 15 at the opposite side of the ring-shaped slit 13, is formed to be thick from the end of the second ring shaped fitting part 12. The second ring shaped fitting part 12 protrudes towards the opposite side of the ring-shaped slit 13 and has a deformable ring-shaped fitting portion at the slit 13 side.
