PURPOSE: A rotational horizontal table carriage for preventing overturn is provided that is equipped with a shock absorber absorbing shock so that the carriage is not overturned or derailed from track rails when an elevated carriage collides with a moving slab, or when a horizontally moving slab collides with a preceding slab. CONSTITUTION: In a rotational horizontal table carriage for changing transfer direction of a slab transferred, the rotational horizontal table carriage for preventing overturn comprises a shock absorber part that is rotated as colliding with the slab to absorb shock applied from the slab transferred; a main body part for rotationally supporting the shock absorber part; and a moving part for horizontally moving the main body part, wherein the shock absorber part comprises a rotational hood(20) that is rotated at the original place by directly contacting with the slab transferred, an elastic means for returning the rotational hood to the initial state is installed on a rotation shaft(28) of the rotational hood, the main body part comprises a hopper(30) equipped with a semicircular groove(30a) on which the rotational hood(20) is rotationally rested, and a body(40) equipped with a recess part(40a) supporting the hopper so that the hopper is slidingly moved in an inclined direction when shock applied from the transferred slab is a certain value or more, a support plate(45) is vertically mounted on the lower part of the body, and the moving part comprises a rotation roller mounted on penetration grooves(45a) that are installed at a certain position of the lower part of the support plate.
