PURPOSE: A wireless input device having a fingerprint identification device is provided to realize the convenient and safe user authentication by attaching the fingerprint identification device to the wireless input device having a keypad. CONSTITUTION: The wireless input device(100) such a wireless keyboard and a remote controller has the keypad(110), and sends a key value generated by pressing a key to a computer or a web TV(300) without a cable by using the infrared, the wireless and the Bluetooth. The fingerprint identification device(200) is installed in the wireless input device, has a fingerprint input window(210) scanning the fingerprint of a user, and sends the scanned fingerprint to the computer or the web TV(300) through the wireless input device by using the infrared, the wireless and the Bluetooth. The computer or the web TV permits the user authentication by comparing the inputted fingerprint with the previously registered fingerprint.
