PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a rudder for a ship is provided to simultaneously process combining holes in first and second combining members, to enhance the precision of respective combining holes to a central shaft by automatically aligning the combining holes during processing, and to improve productivity by saving the time for processing. CONSTITUTION: A first combining member combined with a rudderstock is formed by casting and welded to the upper end of a plate unit by welding. A second combining member cast in a specific shape is welded to the plate unit below the first combining member(S22). A first and a second center holes of a specific size are processed in respective combining members before the combining members are welded with the plate unit. A pin frame orbitingly supported on a ship is automatically aligned with the central shaft of a first and a second combining holes by simultaneously boring the center holes with a single drive shape(S30).
