PURPOSE: A combination system operating according to a selected operation pattern is provided to simply operate a complex combination system with a few inputs in case of editing and recording data from one recording medium to the other recording medium. CONSTITUTION: In a combination system(100) including a reproducing apparatus(120) reproducing data recorded at one recording medium and a recording apparatus(110) recording data at the other recording medium, the combination system includes a receiving part(117) receiving a command input by a user, a storing part(125) storing more than one pattern in regard to a system which the reproducing apparatus reproduces data, a control part(123) controlling the reproducing apparatus according to the pattern corresponding to the command received through the receiving part.
