FRINGE FIELD SWITCHING MODE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE: A fringe field switching mode liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent the connection reject due to the generation of undercut of a gate insulating film by etching an N-Rich SiNx film and a gate insulating film on a dummy pattern. CONSTITUTION: A fringe field switching mode liquid crystal display device includes pad parts in a structure that a gate metal pattern(3a) contacts source/drain metal patterns by a connection pattern(8) formed of a transparent metal for pixel electrodes and an N-Rich SiNx film doped at a lower part of a gate insulating film(5) for covering the gate metal pattern, wherein a dummy pattern(2a) is formed on the pad parts with a transparent metal for counter electrodes to directly contact the gate metal pattern, the N-Rich SiNx film and the gate insulation film on the dummy pattern are etched to expose the dummy pattern partially, and the dummy pattern contacts the source/drain metal patterns by the connection pattern.
