PURPOSE: An initial driving method of a Kimchi storehouse in which a compressure is controlled by adjusting a lower limit value of a control temperature when the internal temperature of the Kimchi storehouse is higher than a specified temperature after comparison of the internal temperature thereof and the lower limit value of the control temperature is provided. Therefore, this method shortens the time to fall to a target temperature from the internal temperature thereof and permits long-term preservation of articles. CONSTITUTION: This initial driving method comprises: measuring an initial internal temperature of a Kimchi storehouse; comparing the internal temperature thereof and a lower limit value of a control temperature; adjusting the lower limit value of the control temperature when the compared temperature difference is over a specified range; switching a compressor on; switching the compressor on and off by comparison of the internal temperature thereof and the lower limit value of the changed control temperature after operation of the compressor; and determining whether normal operation or reoperation of the compressor is required by comparison of the internal temperature thereof and the upper limit value thereof after switching the compressor on and off.
