PURPOSE: A method and a system for operating an Internet game using a group competition match are provided to increase the unity for a group and the relationship between the members by offering a game of a group competition match type to the users joining for the game and to enhance the profit of a game site by securing the members of the high reliability and royalty. CONSTITUTION: An information communication terminal(10) has a multimedia function to exchange the text, picture, voice, image and moving image data. A common network(30) realizes an e-mail, the file transfer, the information search and the hypertext information reading by using the information communication terminal. A service provider web server(40) provides the information to the user in order to enjoy the various games by joining for the game as a member of the group after the user affiliates to the group through the information communication terminal.
