PURPOSE: A flat brushless motor for driving a washing machine is provided to improve electrical characteristics of the washing machine by connecting a rotary shaft of a washing bath with the flat inductive motor including a flat stator and a flat rotator. CONSTITUTION: A flat stator(9) having a structure of a stator core is formed by installing a circular magnetic core having a structure of an outer circumference slot or a circular magnetic core having a structure of an inner circumference slot to a direction of a rotator shaft(8). A predetermined gap is maintained between a flat rotator(10) and the flat stator(9). The flat rotator(10) has a ring formed with copper or aluminum. A winding coil(11) is wound around a slot of the flat stator(9). The rotary force is generated by flux generated from the winding coil and inductive current induced from the ring. The rotary force is connected to a rotary shaft of a washing machine.
