The invention relates to a sonic pump employed in the oil industry for pumping the oil out of the deposit. According to the invention, the sonic pump transmits the energy to the oil-bearing layer by having the inlet valve (A) and the discharge valve (B) positioned below and, respectively, above a level at which a sealing collar (j) is fastened outside the pump body (2). The piston (4) is mounted in a bushing (3) provided with at least one inlet (a) communicating with an upper volume (s) through a channel (b1) and another channel (b), the latter being linked to the central channel (d) of the piston (4) through several inlets (c) cut into the rod of the piston (4). The central channel (d) is closed by a plug (5) and communicates at its lower part with a receiving enclosure (r) through some outlets (e), said receiving enclosure (r) communicating in its turn with a central channel (g) through some limiting channels (f), said central channel (g) being linked to a lower volume (h) provided with a lower bushing (6) wherein a closing plug (7) is mounted.
