<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a band-controlled data communication, even when the communication is conducted across a plurality of ISPs. SOLUTION: A method of securing a transmission band for the transfer of data between two communication equipment (DTE-a, contents serverα) across a plurality of ISPs (ISP-a, ISP-b) in the Internet. One of the communication equipment applies to a band securement intermediary agent server (intermediary agent's serverβ), which mediates the securement of a transmission band in the Internet for securing a band for a data transmission route along which data is transmitted, and the band securement intermediary agent server secures a transmission band on the data transmission route on behalf of the two communication equipment.</p> |
