PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count the number of accessing times to hyperlinked Web contents by different hyperlink sources passing through when accessed. SOLUTION: If a URL subjected to one-to-one correspondence to link destination Web contents is called a real URL, a URL to be allocated to each of link source web contents and to be associated with the real URL is set. The URL is called a logic URL. A link destination web site receives a transmission request with a logic URL, subsequently converts the logic URL into a real URL, transmits Web contents corresponding to the real URL to a transmission request source and counts the number of accesses by logic URLs at the same time.
