PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor which assures higher bearing rigidity, reduces contact rotation of a rotating body even when external shock and impact are applied and realizes high precision rotation for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A first magnet 7 is provided at the base end portion of the shaft 2 of a bearing supporting hole 3b. A second magnet opposing to this first magnet 7 is provided to the shaft supporting hole 3b.
