PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a FAX distributing system that enables a distribution side to efficiently acquire an unsent telegraphic message, without the need for retransmitting of the unsent telegraph message by a distribution sender. SOLUTION: A FAX distribution device 2 is provided with an unsent telegraphic message management section 11 and an unsent telegraphic message notice destination management section 12. The unsent telegraph message management section 11 stores an unsent telegraph message together with a cross-referenced management number. An unsent telegraph message notice destination other than a FAX number to a FAX terminal 5 of a distribution destination is registered, in advance to the unarrived telegraph message notice destination management section 12, when a FAX telegraph message is not arrived, the FAX distribution device 2 informs the unsent notice destination, corresponding to the FAX terminal 5 registered in the unsent telegraph message notice destination management section 12 about the management number of the unsent telegraph message and the access number to the FAX distribution device 2, an optional phone terminal or a FAX terminal in the unsent distribution destination accesses the FAX distribution device 2 and enters the informed unsent telegraph message management number to acquire the unsent telegraph message corresponding to the management number stored in the unsent telegraph message management section 11.
