PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and to reduce the manufacturing cost by arranging the other function required in an image sensor circuit board to a fitting means for fitting the circuit board to a main body fitting part. SOLUTION: An image reading unit has an image sensor converting light from an original into an electric signal and the circuit board where the image sensor is fitted to one face. A heat radiating member controlling the rise of the temperature of the image sensor is arranged on one face of the circuit board and a shielding member reducing noise is disposed on the other face of the circuit board. The heat radiating member and the shielding member are connected by a heat transmission member. The heat radiating member is arranged between the image sensor and the circuit board.
