PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high frequency up converter circuit having an APC(Automatic Power Control) function in which power sensing can be performed accurately for an ultrawide band signal while reducing the number of components and the cost. SOLUTION: High frequency output from a mixer circuit 31 comprising a diode element is taken out at a power distribution circuit 71, e.g. a coupler 18, the power level is detected by a power sensor circuit 81 comprising a diode element 16, and the gain of a power regulating circuit 9 provided at the prestage of the mixer circuit 31 is controlled by the detection output thus regulating the power level of the output from the mixer circuit 31. In such a high frequency circuit, the mixer circuit 31, the power distribution circuit 71 and the power sensor circuit 81 are formed integrally on the same MMIC.
