PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce reduction of contact reliability between a terminal member and a movable contact piece, which is caused by degradation over aging and fatigue of metallic materials of a switch in electric parts for automobile such as a lam unit or the like. SOLUTION: In a contact part 14A of the terminal member 14 to contact a contact part 15E (protrusion 15F) of the movable contact piece 15 in an off condition of the switch, the central part and its neighborhood in the sliding direction of the movable contact piece 15 are made a hollow deeper than that of this both end parts vicinity, and the amount of deformation of the contact part 15E in a switch-off state is made smaller than that in a switch-on state, and substantially to zero.
