PURPOSE: A system and method for an on-line information supplying service using a data communication network is provided to supply data on a terminal of a service user in accordance with a request by converting the data set into menu and voice adapted to an automatic response service. CONSTITUTION: A service user connects to a web server capable of setting an automatic response service through a data communication network using a computer(S201). The service user collects data for receiving an automatic response service out of data being supplied in the web server, and edits the collected data using a tool supplied in the web server(S202). The edited data are processed as a form adapted to the automatic response service by an information processing unit and stored in an automatic response database(S203,S204). A certification key necessary for using the automatic response service is endowed to the service user by the web server(S205). The web server transmits a message for informing that the data have been converted into a form adapted to the automatic response service to a terminal of the service user(S206).
