PURPOSE: A test apparatus for a cowl cross bar is provided to check the assembling position and the surface of a vehicle body accurately, and to correct errors by combining the cowl cross bar test tool with a dash panel. CONSTITUTION: A supporting bar is combined with an assembling bracket of a center floor panel, and installed in the middle of a main pipe with protruding downward. A bracket is combined with a dash panel(30), and mounted in the end of the main pipe. A setting jig arm(13) is installed between the bracket and the supporting bar, and a tooling hole(13a) is formed in the setting jig arm. The assembling position is checked by combining the supporting bar with the assembling bracket and the bracket with the dash panel. Errors are measured and corrected with fitting the tooling hole of the setting jig arm to an assembling hole(31) of the dash panel.
